من پەتاتەكان پاك دەكەم.

I peel the potatoes.

Je pèle les pommes de terre.


A boy chopping a cabbage.

من كەلەمێك ورد دەكەم.

I chop a cabbage.

J’émince un chou.


A boy grating carrots.

من گێزەرەكان لە ڕەندە دەدەم.

I grate the carrots.

Je râpe les carottes.


A boy washing beans.

من پاقلەكان دەشۆمەوە.

I wash the beans.

Je lave les fèves.


A boy cutting a butternut.

من كولەكەكە لەت لەت دەكەم.

I cut the butternut.

Je coupe la courge musquée.


A boy chopping spinach.

من سپێناغەكە ورد دەكەم.

I chop the spinach.

Je hache les épinards.


A woman chopping onions and a boy watching.

دایكم پیواز ورد دەكات.

My mom chops the onions.

Ma mère hache les oignons.


A boy wiping his tears in front of a plate of chopped onions.

پیوازی وردكراو وام لێ دەكات كە بگریم.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.

Les oignons me font pleurer quand ils sont hachés.
