away.

တင်ဂီနဲ့ သူ့အဖွားဟာ ထွက်ပြေးပြီး ပုန်းနေရပါတယ်။
Tingi and his
grandmother ran away
and hid.

သူတို့ဟာ ညနက်တဲ့ထိပုန်းနေကြပါတယ်။
They hid in the bush
until night.
Ils restèrent cachés dans des buissons jusqu’au soir.
အဲ့ဒီနောက် စစ်သားတွေဟာ ရောက်လာကြပါတယ်။
Then the soldiers
came back.
Puis les soldats revinrent.
အဖွားဟာတင်ဂီကို သစ်ရွက်တွေနဲ့ဖုံးလိုက်ပါတယ်။
Grandmother hid Tingi
under the leaves.

စစ်သားတစ်ယောက်ဟာ သူ့ကို ခြေထောက်နဲ့နင်းမိပေမယ့် သူဟာအသံတိတ်နေပါတယ်။
One of the soldiers put
his foot right on him,
but he kept quiet.
Un des soldats marcha sur Tingi, mais celui-ci ne réagit pas.

When it was safe, Tingi
and his grandmother
came out.

သူတို့ဟာ အိမ်ကို တိတ်တိတ်လေးပြန်သွားကြပါတယ်။
They crept home very
quietly.
Ils revinrent chez eux sans faire le moindre bruit.
